A form of painting which uses electrical charge to attract paint to grounded metal. A charged electrode at the tip of the spray gun atomizes and ionizes the paint particles. The resulting cloud of paint is attracted to the grounded metal workpiece by electrostatic forces.

Less Overspray
Overspray is virtually eliminated in electrostatic painting, which not only reduces painting costs, but allows for painting to be performed in homes, offices, or other locations, without having to resort to extensive masking to protect the surrounding area.
Less Lost Paint
With 95% of paint sprayed going to the workpiece instead of the surroundings, less paint is used. This means lower costs for us and lower pricing for you.
‘Wrap-Around’ Effect
Atomized paint coming off the gun forms a fine cloud. Electrostatic attraction causes this paint to become attracted to the workpiece, which not only saves paint, but producing a higher quality finish as the paint is attracted to the sides and back of the workpiece. This ‘wrap-around’ effect is even more beneficial for objects with a lot of hard to reach areas.
Less VOC Emissions
Less paint sprayed means less VOCs in the air. VOCs are Volatile Organic Compounds, such as those that cause the typical odors associated with drying paint.
High Production Rate
As almost all of the paint goes to the object, less time is needed to paint each item, allowing jobs to be completed faster.
Our Flexibility
Our crews can perform refinishing onsite or at our facilities.
Years of experience
We have been in business for over twenty years and have experience with a wide range of refinishing projects.

Low cost painting method
Our electrostatic painting methods are very low cost, allowing for refinishing at a fraction of the cost of replacement.

The Ransberg No. 2 Electostatic process offers many environmental benefits.
The process has virtually no overspray, significantly reducing the amount of paint used on a given job, the amount of cleanup needed, the amount of solid waste produced, and the amount of VOCs released into the air.

What are VOCs and HAPs?
VOC stands for Volatile Organic Compounds.
  • These are compounds that evaporate at room temperature.
  • As these are types of compounds have been known to cause health problems, it is often best to limit exposure.
  • VOC compliant materials respect environmental laws concerning these compounds and do not contain unsafe levels of certain industrial chemicals.
HAPs are Hazardous Air Pollutants.
Specifically these are compounds that are listed by the EPA as being a hazard, such as asbestos, benzene, or formaldehyde.
